Like the last comic I posted, today’s two page comic is a backup I did for the Kid’s Comics Studio Anthology (in the event that it needed shorter pieces). This, too, was an exercise in setting up the conflict as soon as I could, but in this story I let the characters just talk, and kept the framing of the scene pretty constant, to let the conversation carry the story. It was fun to do, and as I returned to ink and color it this week, some ideas came up to extend the story for another four two-page episodes. So look for those in future posts!
The big news today, Tuesday, April 22nd, is that our Kickstarter to fund the anthology is launching this afternoon, around 4 PM ET. So if you’d like to have a physical or digital copy of my eight pager, that’s in a book that includes the work of 30 other fun comic artists from all over the world, you can pledge here:
Let’s Go! - A Kids Comics Studio Anthology
Your support will help us print our book. The contributors to the anthology aren’t being paid, and proceeds will help cover our costs, and help us donate books to several charities. But we do have a funding goal we need to reach before we can do that, so any pledges are truly appreciated!

That’s it for this week, I look forward to posting another comic in the next week or two! 🙂
RELEASE THE YUMMY. Love it. Best of luck on the KS!
